Based on the internationally successful product Fibre-Beet, SpookyMash has been designed as both a treat and a nutritionally superior feed. The combination of oil, sugars and fibres has been calculated to give the correct energy profile for the horse.

SpookyMash has been structured to give a balanced nutritional “meal”; it can be fed in any situation. The highly palatable mix of ingredients will fit into any feeding program without disrupting nutrient balance and so can be fed at any time to improve digestibility and hydration.

Fibre-Beet is an ideal product to feed as a mash; containing Speedi-Beet, it easily absorbs water making a true mash in a very short time. Mashes are ideal for the horse as the water improves digestibility and gut flow to a greater degree than a dry feed. Hot mashes warm the body core and so help maintain condition in cold weather.

About the ingredients: Chia seeds work to slow digestion and the body’s absorption of carbohydrates, allowing for better nutrient absorption. Chia seeds are also high in omega-3 fatty acids. Pumpkin seeds contain very good levels of essential minerals like copper, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium. Papaya is a rich source of phytonutrients, minerals and vitamins. Papayas contain soft, easily digestible pulp, a source of soluble dietary fiber aiding digestion. Studies have shown the benefits of papaya in treating ulcers.
